My health is hyper-sensitive to human-made, harmful chemicals. So, I’m always on the lookout for companies like Simply Earth Essential Oils. Their preparations promise zero side-effects and are made with ingredients found in nature.
Here's my review of the Simply Earth brand, their essential oils, and their very popular monthly subscription “Recipe Box”.
Ditching Dangerous Toxic Ingredients
Are you concerned about human-made chemicals, endocrine disruptors, and toxic carcinogens in your daily body care and household products?
Because there is plenty of scientific evidence that links these chemicals to:
- Breast cancer
- Learning disabilities
- And worst of all…cancer!
Did you know that one out of every two men, and more than one out of every three women will get cancer in their lifetime? The cosmetics and personal-care product industries bear significant responsibility for this health crisis.
Simply Earth and their monthly DIY Recipe Box have the solution.
Since I’m hyper-sensitive to toxic chemicals myself, I wanted to learn if their monthly essential oil subscription box could help me make natural, fun, and inexpensive products I can use without hesitation.
Do you ever wonder why we blindly trust big Pharma and corporations when it comes to our well-being? Why are toxic products even on the shelves?
Because big corporations can use almost any ingredient they wish. They are not even required to disclose all ingredients on product labels and they can label their products as “all-natural” without having a single natural ingredient in them.
When the end goal is profit, no one will pause for a second regarding your health. Sadly, that’s just the way it is.
It all started when I began studying the holistic principles of Ayurveda and became a healthy living expert. That’s when I became disgusted with ingredient labels. Why all the toxic chemicals?
I realized that just because something is labeled ‘natural’, does not mean it is safe. It also became clear that my health condition was not going to change until I stopped using products with toxic chemicals.
Studying Ayurveda taught me that our skin is an organ that eats (absorbs) whatever we feed it. So, whatever we put on our skin, it is ingested to become food for tissue building.
My Defining Moment
I remember the spring of 2017 quite well. I woke up at 5 am with a burning, tingle on the back on my left hand. At first, I brushed it off as a bug bite, but by noon, this small red patch had quickly moved up my arm without clearly defined edges.
“I feel like my arm has been taken over by aliens!” I told the dermatologist. She examined my torso which was now covered with red inflamed skin, crisscrossed with scratch marks.
By the time I got to her office, big red blotches covered my arm and torso. Right from the beginning, the rash was incredibly itchy. I couldn't sleep, could barely work, or concentrate on anything else.
Narrowing Things Down
I can still hear the doctor's voice telling me “I want to run some tests to rule out a disease somewhere in your body”. I remember feeling so cold and vulnerable dressed in nothing but a paper gown experiencing the shaking fear of some dreadful disease.
Over the course of the next week, my test results came in. We were able to narrow things down to an allergic reaction caused by chemical compounds in the hand cream I was using.
It was after this horrible experience that I vowed to stop exposing myself to all personal care products with toxic chemicals. But finding responsible products with high-quality simple ingredients was not an easy task.
Simply Earth Essential Oils Review
An All-Natural Solution
One of my Ayurvedic teachers told me about Simply Earth. With over 2000 5-Star reviews, they help people like me looking for products with pure, natural ingredients.
Simply Earth began a few years ago. It all started because the owner grew tired of paying for overpriced essential oils (think MLM) they couldn't completely trust. So they took matters into their own hands to create a monthly essential oil subscription box.
Each month Simply Earth helps you create a healthy and chemical-free home for you and your family.
You get a box full of everything you need to make healthy, fun, easy self-care products. The recipes are crafted by their team of certified Aromatherapists.

Affordable Essential Oils
No need to break the bank to get the benefits of pure essential oils. Essential oils from the big suppliers, (many of them are multi-level marketing companies like Do Terra and Young Living), can be very expensive.
I paid up to $50 for just one bottle! But, Simply Earth delivers you a box for just $39 with everything mentioned above to make many healthy products.
Want to try some natural self-care solutions?
Simply Earth oils are 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils. No added fragrance or fillers and backed by their 365-day guarantee. They work directly with the farmers to make sure the oils are pure. Every batch is tested with GC/MC reports available to you. You can view their Simply Pure Promise here.
Free Essential Oil Education
One of the things I really love about Simply Earth is its commitment to free essential oil education. No purchase is required and anyone can get their FREE 52-page ebook with information about every oil. Friends, this ebook is really phenomenal!
You can also find a ton of recipes on their blog which is a valuable resource if you are looking for something specific. For instance, I recently tried a recipe for a cucumber eye mask for dark circles that I loved.
Help Their Cause
Simply Earth donates 13% of its profits to end human sex trafficking. Your purchase can help them help these children.
Gain Control Over Product Ingredients
You can make so many cleaning and personal care products from cleaners to shampoo. Did you know the FDA does not require cosmetic products to list ingredients?
You do not need to expose yourself to harsh chemicals to be clean, so why are you?
You can make products using natural ingredients, and you will reduce the number of chemicals to which you are exposed very quickly.
Simply Earth Pros and Cons:
Simply Earth is for you if:
- You want to learn more about Essential oils and non-toxic living. They offer loads of free education. You can find a FREE 52-page ebook and tons of valuable information and videos on their website.
- You enjoy DIY projects
- You appreciate great customer service. They respond happily and fast no questions asked.
- You want quality oils but need affordability. Their oils are never diluted and are 1/2 to 1/3 the cost of MLM companies or competitor's prices
- You want to support organizations putting an end to human trafficking
- You like surprises
All products have bad points so I want to be transparent about sharing something Simply Earth could improve on.
- While most of the ingredients you need to make your recipes are included there have been two occasions that required additional ingredients. For me, it was not a huge deal because I had these common ingredients (cornstarch and salt) in my kitchen cupboard.
