Health Benefits of Cardamom
It is one of the most popular spices used in Ayurvedic cooking. According to Ayurvedic texts, cardamom aids digestion and improves appetite. It is known for its antioxidant properties, which help combat oxidative stress and reduce inflammation in the body. Additionally, it may help lower blood pressure and improve cardiovascular health.
When it comes to making these Cardamom Bliss Balls, opting for fresh, organic varieties is important. Organic cardamom ensures that it is grown without the use of synthetic pesticides or fertilizers, minimizing exposure to potentially harmful chemicals.
Spices lose their potency and medicinal properties over time. Therefore, Ayurvedic teachings suggest changing your spices every six months to ensure you are using fresh spices that offer maximum health benefits and flavor.
